Singer Vintage 29K71 Long Arm Pedestal Bobbin Sewing Machine I bought this machine from an estate, and used it to sew a few items. Mostly shoe repair and hat brims. It really does work great, but I've upgraded and have no rrrom for it. It's been sitting in my shop, and I need to send it to a good home. It comes with 5 extra bobbins and a set of needles, which are stillavailable from select Singer dealerships.It is a pick-up only. Too large and heavy to ship.Everything pictured comes with the machine.Table, treadle and machine. The reason I bought this machine is because I thought it would be handy for my new venture, a small costume shop. Fortunately, our good business made it impossible for me to actually do any sewing, and it had to be stored out of the shop for space. It sits in my very small apartment, and I am tired of dusting it. I have played with it, and have actually made a pair of shoes with it, but I just don't have that kind or time anymore.As with any belted machine, I use pressure on the treadle and belt slippage to increase and decrease speed. Honestly, I am a bit afraid of it, because I almost sent one of the needles through my finger with it, and being a pianist, I can't afford hand injuries. BUT IT WILL GETCHA!I'm sorry I am not an expert on vintage industrials, but I am sure it will do a nice job of sewing difficult to reach spaces for whomever has the talent and time to put it to good use.It is not inconvenient for me to leave it exactly w it is for the summer. I have dusted it for a while now, and can continue to do so. However, I will expect immediate payment, regardless of when you pick it up.I will work with the winning buyer. You will not be surprised, nor unpleasantly dealt with.Good business brings more good business.Good luck!
