Singer 29K73 Leatherwork/Cobbler's Sewing Machine This machine is a honey. This machine belongs to a friend of mine who is a seamstress and specializes in leatherwork. She is relocating and will not be able to take this beauty with her. It has been cleaned up and fixed up and it works like a champ! She has used it to fix shoes and repair many heavy leather items. It has had a motor attached to it and will work motorized or with the treadle. I worked with this lady for a summer and I have used it but I'm not as accomplished a seamstress as my friend and I was afraid I'd sew my fingers together so didn't use it much! T is a wooden piece that you can see part of in one of the pictures, that was made to fit around the walking foot so that you can lay a purse or piece of leather on it as you are sewing. This piece will be in a seperate auction. This baby is HEAVY. I would estimate shipping could run anyw from $100 to $300 depending on w you are located. Depending on your business, it would be well worth it because this is a heck of a machine. When the auction is over, we can discuss the shipping. Any method that you would prefer is fine with us. Local pickup would be great! Cheaper for you and less hassle for her. NOTE: I couldn't get the shipping information off of this listing so at this moment I have no idea what it's going to say when I get done BUT, bear in mind, this has not been weighed and I do NOT know the shipping amount.
