It can sew just about everything from leather to the lightest of fabric without missing a stitch. It includes the original foot pedal, basic accessories, the instructions(a copy) and a carrying/storage case. The serial number is AJ 956732; it has the Singer Centennial medallion on the frontThis sewing machine is in very good working condition with a working light. The machine belonged to my late mother and I've been keeping it more for sentimental reasons than to use(I also inherited her 401-A which I do use). She kept very good care of this machine and I've also kept it oiled and running smoothly. Its been stored in the house- not the attic or basement so there isn't any rust/mold etc. The body of the machine is really in very good condition- there's very little wear to the decals and markings on the machine. There isn't any rust or corrosion. It's quite heavy- in the carrying case its 40 lbs so I will ship to the continental US only via FedEx ground; no post office boxes.
