SINGER F*E*A*T*H*E*R*W*E*I*G*H*T 221-1 This auction is for a Singer Featherweight 221-1 sewing machine. Serial number starts with AF so I think this is from the 1930's. It has the scroll deco plate. Includes bobin. Works great. Light works. Complete professional tune up before being stored in the 1980s. Cord and foot pedal great. Has black leather locking case and two keys. Case handle is not broken or taped. This also includes a lot of accessories, booklets, needles, grease tube, everything you need. Motor reads "Sewing Motor, Cat. 3-110, 100-110 volts, 25-75 cycles and DC, O.4 ampere, Simanco, USA" and very quiet when running. Some decal wear on front of machine but sides and back look great. Belt is nice and tight and not worn. Also included is an original featherweight table with model number stamped on bottom and also on insert. Measures 30" x 30" x 27-1/2". Has wood top and black metal legs. Very sturdy and ready to use. A few scuffs. The attachments include 1) Singer Buttonhole Attachment #121795 w/box and instructions (1940), 2) Singer Hemstitcher and Picoting Attachment #121387 w/box and instructions (1942) and 3) Singer Adjustable Zigzag Attachment #121706 w/box and instructions (1939). T are other loose attachments that are Singer but I dont know what they are. They are pictured on the table with the boxed attachments. read more
