This 1946 vintage Singer Featherweight sewing machine is beautiful but needs some loving hands to help her. While all the original parts are present, including the bobbin case, the motor no longer works and needs to be replaced. Also, t is no carrying case with the machine, and a new belt is needed. The foot pedal is original but the cord has been replaced. The serial number is AG614591, giving her a birth date of February 18, 1946, according to the Singer website. Please understand that this is a beautiful machine that has sewn wonderfully for many years (as Featherweights are known to do!) and with a little TLC should give you many years of sewing pleasure. The end plate features the familiar scroll design and the enamel is in good condition overall, although some of the decalling has rubbed off on the front base and t is a pinhead-sized spot of green paint on the base. This one's got many more good years in her to help you to create treasured heirlooms for your loved ones.
