VINTAGE SINGER FEATHERWEIGHT 221 Up for bid is this beautiful Singer Featherweight 221 portable sewing machine. This was purchased from the estate of the original owner. It is in very clean, minty condition with only light signs of use. It does work. The paint is very shiny with no wear to the gold decals, I see only a few very slight pin scratches. The serial number is AK750538. It features the 50 year anniversary plaque. Although not an expert in sewing, I was able to sew some test stitches with no issues. The machine also comes with the original owners manual, about 13 attachments (many unusual ones), the original oil can and case (which is also in great shape!). Although it is in working condition it had most likely been years since routine maintenance so it may be a good idea to have it looked over and oiled.
