This is the quilters' dream sewing machine--the vintage Singer Featherweight 221 model. This machine is in very good condition and running order. It has the fancy Egyptian scrollwork face plate (see photos). The serial number on the bottom is AG539110 making this one of the earlier models. The foot pedal, electrical cord, and bobbin case are all present and in good condition. A screwdriver and extra bobbins are included. The machine comes with its black carrying case with the tray insert; the latches on the case work well and close tightly. I have included several pictures to allow you to see just how beautiful this machine is. I am also including the book "Featherweight 221 The Perfect Portable" expanded 3rd edition, by Nancy Johnson-Srebro. This book includes a great deal of history on these collectible machines as well as practical information on using the machine. It is a very interesting & informative reference book. This sewing machine comes from a smoke-free home. Shipping offered within the U.S. only. Insurance is optional but recommeneded as I cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items.
