SINGER FEATHERWEIGHT SEWING MACHINE (MODEL 221 with box and foot) DESCRIPTION: What a wonderful Singer featherweight. This machine is the 221 model, adorned with the Egyptian Scrollwork pattern in gold and serial number AK992247 which dates the machine 1951. It features a fold-up extension bed or platform for more sewing surface. This extension features two screws so that the extension could be removed. The machine was received from an estate and has been recently serviced. It is in excellent working order and the light also works as shown in the pictures. The original gold Singer Manufacturing plaque is attached. Included in the sale is the foot and black carrying case with functioning latches.
