Here's one of the best sewing machines ever made: the Singer Featherweight 211-1. This shiny black machine features 100% intact gold gilt scrolling trim with no missing paint, only a few light pin marks. It was made in 1951, bears Serial # AK584172, and is equipped with the powerful 110-120 volt motor made in Elizabethport, N.J. All of its electrical is perfect and the motor is running strong. Included is the original Singer instruction manual and loads of goodies including the original tin can of Singer Sewing Machine Oil and many attachments: Edge Sticher 36865; Multi-Slotted Binder 160359, Adjustable Hemmer 35931, Foot Hemmer 120855, Gatherer for Shirring 121441, Ruffler 120598, a Griest Multi-Slotted Binder, the original Singer brown handled screwdriver, and 7 metal bobbins plus 2 new packages of Singer metal bobbins each with an additional 4 bobbins (Total bobbins = 15). The cord and foot pedal appear practically brand new, and there is a new old stock motor belt in its original packaging. This set ALSO comes with a Singer Hemstitcher (#121387 in its original box with instructions) and a Singer Gripper #121818 (also in its original box.) Finally, there are 4 packs of additional needles, sizes 14, 16 and 18. The locking case is in excellent condition and comes with both original keys. There is a small amount of mildew inside the case which needs to be cleaned but we'll leave that to the new owner. Other numbers appearing on this machine include: Simanco USA 45728 on one shaft, Simanco USA 45733 on the other shaft, Simanco USA 45855 on the bottom of the aluminum plate, and Simanco USA 45713 under the hinged sewing bed. This would make an excellent sewing machine for quilting.
