is a beautiful Singer featherweight sewing machine Model 222K . I took lots of pcitures so please check them all. Don't miss out on this one as i know that this one is highly collectable. The sewing machine itself is in excelent condition. With a few minor scuff marks, but over all very good shape for its age. But could use a good cleaning. I will leave that to the winning bidder. Don't miss out on this one.The research i did shows this machine being made in 1954. The Model number is EJ621371 . other numbers i found on bottom are :18 171019 with SIMANCO . The cord has a few nicks on it that was taped with electrical tape. The motor was tested and works just fine, so the cord does work. But the buyer can change it if he wants. Or use it the way it is. I moved the pully by hand and the needle went up and down and the teeth under the plate moved forward a backwards. So thats working. t are 8 metal attachments and 2 plastic attachments and 5 bobbins and 1 tool to thread the needle. Also t is a tin oil can with a lead or some kind of metal tip and cap that still has some oil in it and a Lubricant tube that also had the lead top and cap it still has lots left in it. I am not sure if all these things are original to this sewing machine, but both have Singer and the BIG S on them. T is also an extra belt and a cardboard box that i put the attachments in. And it has the Instruction booklet that says Singer Model 222K and the BIG S marked on it. All this can be seen in the pictures. I can't run the machine because our electrical outlets are only 110 volts and it is 210. The motor has Singer sewing motor, CAT. C.A.K. 7.11 , 210-230 volts , 0.25 amp. A.C. D.C. The Singer mfg. Co. Made in Great Britain . The case is very good condition except for material starting to let go on the back corner and could easly be glued back on. i will leave that to the buyer to fix. The latches all close properly. I don't have the key . Shipping in Canada will be around $35.00 and shipping to the U.S.A. will be around $50.00 and that includes up to $1000.00 in Insurance. All other locations will have to be determined when i know the destination. I don't know much about sewing machines But please feel free to email me with any questions you may have. Good luck bidding
