's another terrific vintage sewing item--that I know little about! What I do know... This comes from a house that was built in the 1870's-ish in a town outside of Memphis. The owners were/are quite wealthy owning over 1,500 acres of prime land. They only had (from what I saw) the best of the best! I would have loved to have purchased the Singer treadle machine as well--among several hundred other items!--but they were certainly out of my economic reach. But, this one I did purchase... It measures just under 6.5" x 12" when folded out. (It "rolls" up to fold into a box as seen in the photo.) All of the wood appears to be in great shape. All original. Stamped on top--very difficult to make out--I had to do a pencil rubbing of it!--is an oval with "Patented 1889 February 19" written inside. Inside the box, is a purple velvet mat. T is some wear and what appears to be rust staining. The velvet is fully intact. On the velvet are holders with numbers to the attachments. The attachment numbers are: 26180, 26165, 25526, 25532, 25531, 25530, 25529, 25528, 26304, and 26306. The two metal holders w the clip is are unnumbered. Now, t are some attachments that were in this box that are also unnumbered. Being as I do not know what they are, I have no clue if they match up to the corresponding clips. But, the "extra" attachments I do see that do not have corresponding numbers are: 25533, 25152, 26088 (the biggest piece), and 26642. (The other large piece does not have a number but has the "S" and "SINGER" logo stamped. (T is also another attachment, pictured in the bottom right hand corner with a black thumb screw that did NOT come with this set and verified by the Greist inscription. (This goes to a Kenmore machine, I believe.)) Some of the attachments and some of the ends of the holders by the screws are a bit rusted or starting to, more like it. Otherwise, they appear to be in great, working shape. Now, what I was told... Obviously I can not confirm any of this as I do not collect vintage sewing, but I am told that these attachments are referred to as Style 11 and they all fit the Singer sewing machine model no. 27. Also known as the Featherweight. I am also told that these would work on the lightweight or most any other "vintage" Singer machine. Records, however, is my passion. Ask away! Regarding my vinyl : As I stated above: I am not a professional, but I am honest. I do not give a specific "condition value" of my records. I leave that up to the potential buyer. What I list is ALL of the blemishes/damage I see. Giving a "value" is subjective; listing the blemishes so YOU can assign a value is definitive.
