It is ready to sew & works well. Has extra needles, bobbins, zipper foot & instructions. The all solid wood base has been reinforced, lift from side to side with the finger holes seen in photo, weight 23#, has no lid.The machine will be wrapped in small bubble bubble wrap put in the box then surrounded with hard sheeted Styrofoam, again tied then placed in second box again surrounded with second layer of sheeted Styrofoam.
