SINGER PORTABLE In-A-Box 99K Featherweight Body says "Made in Great Brittain". Motor stamped "Simanco Made in USA" Serial Number EL690366 Cat. No. RF 5- 8 This little machine is GREAT for taking to quilt classes or any kind of sewing workshop. It has not been used for a while, but when I plugged it in and sewed a couple inches, it did just fine. Motor quiet and smooth. Light works. It has what appears to be original wiring - and t are a couple cracks in the cord that HAVE NOT been repaired with electrician's tape. I don't know if this is the original foot pedal and plug - they don't look like what I see on other 99K's so it's your call. The box is scruffy, but undamaged. The buckles on the side work and hold it closed, and are a bit rusty - but not bad. The only reason I'm selling it is that I already have 2 Featherweights in the black boxes - and I don't need a third. Unfortunately, it has no manuals or accessories, but I have seen them available periodically in eBay for a very reasonable price - and I believe you can get manual copies from Singer still. I did on my other old machines. Package will weigh 35 pounds with stuffing and be large (12 X 14 X 18). Parcel post shipping should not be more than $25.00 (including a $2.00 packaging fee.)
