This machine can sew. However it does not sew well. So I will classify it as not in working condition. I did a partial overhaul. This is a charming machine and a great example of the way things where once built. Even little things like screws of this time (and this machine) have a thicker head, companies were much more generous with using quality materials. Made in America, this machine was originally created between 1900 and 1920. This machine is cast iron. I have replaced some small missing parts. This machine was originally created for sewing leather: shoes, bags, any leather item. The arm is specifically made for hard to access areas. I will include a manual on CD. This sale is for both the stand and the sewer. I have unscrewed the stand from the sewer for ease of transport. This machine is HEAVY. Local pickup only.
