In 1866, Sister Coletta Himmelsbach and three other daring young women in Seelbach, Germany accepted the challenge to serve the poor, the sick and the aging of their village. From this small group grew the Congregation now known as the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart. I have a beautiful 16 1/2" Porcelain doll, originally hand crafted representing the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart. Her outfit consists of a black pleated habit - white coif (collar), white guimpe (bib), white bandeau (head covering), black veil. She also comes with a Francisan cord , rosary beads and around her neck hangs a crucifix. Her undercoverings include bloomers, slip, socks and shoes. A stand and dust cover and short history of the order are included. She is a collectable, not for child's play. I combine shipping on multiple orders. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Thank you and God Bless !
