I had to change this listing from four to six magazines. In fact I had to keep changing it to be accurate trying to figure out what's in these six magazines. They are in very good condition (because of the paper used for the magazine)disbound 1778 issues of the Westminster Magazine. GUARANTEED original and not repros. In them is a continuing American Revolution era article entitled 'An Account into the Rise and Progress of the Present Disputes between Great Britain and her Colonies'. This is a very early account while the war was obviously still going on. I triple checked and now am sure that these six issues, April, May, July, September, November, and December are the complete set of issues containing this account. T are nearly 16 full pages of the account in all. Also t is other war related news in each issue, as can be expected. I only realized that April and May contained the first two segments after listing the other four months. So I left the price as is and though you will not see pictures of the April and May issues in this listing, be assured they are included. Not pictured is a May engraving of ' A fortified Town, on a Perforated Rock, at (Tolaga?) in New Zealand', and an April engraving of'St. Wenefrede's Well'. Several engravings are missing and only these two and those pictured are present and in very good condition. None missing are relevent to the war. I can send pics of the April and May issues if anyone were interested. I can send better pics the other issues for that matter. If you are interested in early Revolutionary War commentary from the British perspective, do not hesitate to snare this auction!!!!! Good luck, no reserve.
