These are 6 10" antique sterling silver knives. Each is marked STERLING on the band w the blade meets the handle. They are marked with a Gorham mark--however I could not get close to showing the mark with my camera. Sorry. The mark is at the very top w the blade meets the handle on the underside. The mark is a lion facing right, then an anchor and then another mark that is I believe a G. The marks are worn on most of the knives but visible with a magnifier on a couple. My research resulted in finding the Gorham Newcastle pattern which matches these and is circa 1895. This would fit in with the origin and condition of these knives. They are an exact match to "Blunt Hollow Knife with Bolster Gorham Newcastle 1895". No monograms. They are being offered in the condition found: unpolished. They were definately used and old.T are no dents or bad damage to these knives..they look well used with scratches on the wide blades (which are not sharp at all). I accept paypal and money orders. Sorry ..no international shipping. Insurance is optional and will be included based on the final selling price. Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions. The blades on these knives are stainless, not silver plated.
