This auction is for an extremely fine, and rare, antique (ca. 1910) lot of six Sterling silver dinner forks by Watson in their early and wonderful LILY pattern of 1902. Art Nouveau inspired forks are crafted from very heavy gauge Sterling silver (combined solid weight on my postal scales is 13 5/8 ounces of the precious alloy) and measure 7 1/2" long. Floral handles are engraved with the letter M in gothic style. Back of handles are marked with the early manufacturer's trademark and Sterling. Condition of all six forks is extremely good, sport no areas of unsightly damage or repairs. Just light surface scratches and tarnish commensurate with age and gentle use. A wonderful and unique addition to your collection of fine antique Sterling silver flatware in a floral, Art Nouveau pattern is offered for a low opening bid and no reserve.
