The 6TH.MICHIGAN CAVALRY was organized at Grand Rapids, Mich., May 28 to October 13, 1862.. They saw duty in the Defences of Washington; Occupation of Gettysburg, Pa., June 28, 1863; Action at Hanover, Pa; BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG; Hunterstown, Pa., Hagerstown; Falling Waters; Bristoew; Mine Run; Wllderness; Yellow Tavern; Haw's Shop; Trevillian Station; Deep Bottom; Opequan; Fisher's Hill; Tom's Creek; Cedar Creek; Waynesboro; Dinwiddie Court House; Five Forks; Sailor's Creek; Appomattox Station; Appomattox Court House; Grand Review; Washington, D. C. May, 1865.CHARLES GLOSSER, a resident of Delhi, Mich. Enlisted as a Private. He was 19 years of age, listed as missing at the Battle of Hanover, Pa. June 30, 1863.GEORGE GRAY, Colonel of the 6th Mich. Cavalry. Document signed "Geo Gray Col. 6 Mich Cavalry" Enlisted on Sept 1, 1862 at Grand Rapids, Mich. as a Colonel.
