Take a good look at these pictures that show a very, very old genuine US silver half dollar that I have handcrafted in to a wondermous size 9 1/2 ring. Please excuse the not very good pictures of what is in actuality a very nice ring. Ring making is my craft and you would be very surprised to learn just how difficult it is to get even a half decent picture of these rings. But you aren't looking to buy a picture and my very much appreciated feedback will tell you that my rings are well liked. Been making these things for over 51 years. This one hasn't been polished, in order to let any potential buyer see the details better and that buyer will decide if they want it polished. On the outside you can clearly see the 1908 date, the thirteen stars that represent the original American colonies and the words IN GOD WE TRUST. On the inside, HALF DOLLAR and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA are clearly seen, also. Use your imagination a little ; just think what a real thrill it would be for a young person, born in 2008 and at some time in the future, to own a piece of jewelry that is 100 years older than they are, made by this old guy back in the hills of West (by Byrd) Virginia.
