This is a nice milky Skeletal(Elestial) Quartz crystal cluster. It has Quartz Microcrystalline psuedomorph crystals after calcite!! They were once calcite then they got covered by microcrystalline quartz then the calcite has dissolved leaving a "shell" of calcite replaced by quartz! THis is very rare!!! If you look close a couple of crystals even have yellow phantoms! This piece makes a really great display! Quartz Crystals are known for good luck & special healing qualities! Comes from the Diamond Hill prospect in South Carolina, known for many different variations of quartz, especialy Skeletal(Elestial) quartz! Skeletal is caused from natural decomposion & regeneration of the crystal, and tfore looks like what a crystals "skeleton" might look like if it had one!
