This Skyline Models circa 1950 issue set of a catalog poster foldout and promotional mailer is in excellent original condition except for several tears. The catalog pages are 6 by 9 inches in size. All Skyline items in this catalog were designed for Prewar Lionel and Marx O Gauge 1/48 scale toy train layouts as well as 3 1/2 mm to 1 foot versions for Lionel OO Gauge layouts and American Flyer HO. Many Skyline model buildings kits were built and used on the Lionel display layout. They can be seen in the photographs of those layouts that Lionel used in its publications. After WWII Skyline also issued most of these kits and simpler kits intended for even younger builders and less permanent layouts. Ready built metal structures and plastic kits were also marketed.Buyers outside of the United States will pay actual shipping cost plus $3 for packing and handling, but U.S. buyers will pay a fixed fee of $2.00 for packing, handling and shipping by U.S. First Class Mail. My 1950s reference is wrong in the description above as the issue date of this catalog. This catalog is a 1930s or very early 1940s before World War II issue. The photograph used on the cover (with credit given to Kaplan's Furniture Store in Scranton PA.) shows only before WWII trains and toys. Perhaps it could have been issued or reprinted later in the 1940s immediately
