18th C, country Chippendale wavy birch, two part secretary desk, top has dovetailed casement with two solid recessed panel doors, inside fitted with adjustable shelves and six letter slots with traces of old red interior, pine interior with pine secondary wood, molded lip slant front with breadboard ends, interior has six narrow rectangular drawers, nine letter compartments with four graduated flush drawers, nicely applied Chippendale bracket base, 80''H x 40''W x 20''D, refinished to honey brown color, replaced brasses, lid hinges replaced, fine shrinkage crack on each side of casement.
