The seller isoffering a very rare original Kodachrome slide of the Greek-flag cruise ship CALYPSO as shown while in South African waters in the 1970s. Built in 1955 as the Shaw Savill & Albion liner SOUTHERN CROSS, she was sold in 1972 to Ulysses Cruise Line who renamed her CALYPSO as depicted on the present slide. This remarkablesharp sunny view was taken from a boat with a professional 35mm SLR camera using a high quality 50mm standard lens. I can attest that this slide is devoid of marks, scratches and blemishes as well as to its high quality, much better than this low resolution scan.
