The seller isoffering a very rare original slide of the Bahamas-flag cruise ship REGENT SUN as shown while departing San Francisco in September 1990. Built in 1964 as SHALOM for Zim Israel Line, she became HANSEATIC in 1967, DORIC in 1973 and ROYAL ODYSSEY in 1982 before being sold in 1988 to Regency Cruises who renamed her REGENT SUN as depicted on the present slide. She was sold out of the Fleet in 1998. This remarkablesharp sunny view was taken from shoreside with a 35mm SLR camera using a high quality 135mm telephoto lens. I can attest that this slide is devoid of marks, scratches and blemishes as well as to its high quality, much better than this low resolution scan.
