POLHEMUS CELESTIAL COMPUTER - AIR NAVIGATION ...AUGUST 1962, REVISED MARCH 1963 Type CPU-41/P, Made by Felsenthal Instruments Co. The rule itself consists of a heavy (1/16th inch thick) base and three moving slides. T are seven templates which snap onto the back of the rule. They are heavy plastic with a frosted surface so that they can be written on with pencil, then erased and used again. The manual is 53 pages, replete with diagrams. You'll also receive two sheets titled Celestial Precomputation. Everything pictured, came out of the kit we opened. THIS VINTAGE ITEM IS NEW, UNUSED....FOUND IN STORAGE AFTER 43 YEARS. We took one out to photograph it. The one you recieve will be in its original case, never out of the case. This is very well made, heavy duty professional instrument. It was apparently made under an Air Force contract. It is labeled "Contract No. AF (600) 20532".
