Has a fantastic vintage tone. The badge is from the Chicago 1928-1941 era. I cannot read the date it was born, but it is over 71 years old and in nice shape considering! Proper Puresound wires have been added, as well as fresh heads. Heads do spin freely on this shell. There is a bit of pitting on the nickel hardware and the inside 3-ply shell has some age wear from drying out over the years, look at all the pictures closely. Snare lever is chrome plated instead of nickel like the rest of the hardware, looks like it might be a modern repro part. The original strainer works well, as does the tone control. Engraved Radio King hoops have a couple dents but still nice.
I have a matching 22" bass drum I will probably be listing soon.
Please ask all questions before bidding after looking close at the high res shots. I will not accept returns as this is a vintage pre WWII drum. $25 insured shipping to the lower 48
Thanks for looking!
