This is a beautiful drum,close to 14" tall, and approximately 15" across- in really good shape- and it sounds great to my untrained ear. It is vintage, not sure of it's exact date...the bracket goes against your leg for marching, and the strings across the bottom are in great condition, as is the percussion surface. I don't know much about drums at all, I bought it to use for a whole other project, and it is in such great shape that it seems wrong to retire it to "art" . So it is for your enjoyment!! Any questions, ask, I will answer to the best of my knowledge. Enjoy looking, bidding, and hopefully playing this fine, fine, instrument!! I had mistakenly listed as a Ludwig, because the white surface says that on it, several ebayers corrected my total ignorance of drums, and recommended listing it in all it's Slingerland glory-so it is for your enjoyment!!
