This auction is for a pair of Small Antique Chinese Carved Ivory Vases. Each vase is 2-7/8" in height, 3/8" at the top, and 1/2" diameter at the bottom. The vases are intricately carved with rose and leaf patterns. Each one prominently features one rose per side, surrounded by delicately carved leaves and branches. They have a thin red rim which appears to be ink or paint just above the bottom edge, and on the bottom of each is written in pen the number "21" (see photos). We don't know if this is signifies the artist, the year or some other designation.
I have owned them for 37 years, and I was told at that time that they were old. I don't know the exact year or vintage, however. They come with small wooden stands, which were purchased separately. T is some slight darkening of the ivory on one of the vases, and when we cleaned it carefully with a Q-tip, the dirt came off. By doing so, we discovered that the darkening is not a permanent stain, but rather dirt or matter that can be removed. We did not try to clean them any more. And now...the "small print":

Purchase any of my other items as well in separate auctions and I'll ship everything together to save money.
