This small collection of 19thc. Indiana primitives is fresh from Huntington County storage and all of the pieces have good, undisturbed old surfaces. The diminutive tool box is solid walnut and measures 8 ½" x 22 ½" x 8 ½" overall. It has sweet original cast brass bail handles and delicate moldings. The inner tray of pine dates from the early 1900s. The hinges are original but have been clumsily moved to accommodate splits in the back of the lid. T are no losses in the splits, so they will readily glue. The surface is dry and appears never to have been varnished. 2. Soft wood pencil box 3" x 3 ½" x 12 ¼". Filthy with minor mouse chews, traces of old red paint. The slide lid is original and fits well; square nail construction. 3. Wall hanging match holder 7" x 2" x 1 ¾" carved from a single piece of walnut. Dry (never finished?) surface with good old color. 4. "O.C." hand carved wooden stamp 4" x 6 3/8" x 1 1/8". Poplar or similar with dirty crusty red paint. Certified checks, PayPal or money orders preferred. Personal checks must clear before shipment. Buyer to pay $13.15 shipping and handling. Please contact for international shipping cost. Insurance is extra. Indiana residents must add 6% sales tax. Please e-mail me if you have any questions. PAYMENT POLICY: Unless arrangements are made prior to bidding, payment is expected within 14 days after the end of the auction or the item will be re-listed.
