I'm back listing tools on eBay after taking a break to complete a remodeling project! The queue is overflowing, so please keep watching my listings. You are bidding on two Disston saws as pictured. The back saw is marked "CAST STEEL HENRY DISSTON & SONS PHILAD'A USA WARRANTED" on the back, and the large nut is marked "DISSTON PHILADA". Blade length is 10". The little teeth are tough to count, but it appears to be 15 point. Condition is good with lots of patina (color)but no pitting, and some wear to the handle from use.The other saw is a mixture. The blade is about 16" long, a little too wide to be a compass saw, and I can't find any markings on it. The handle has a Disston nut, and is essentially identical to the back saw handle above. Condition is similar, with less patina and no pitting on the blade, and some wear to the handle from use. T is a chip out of the top w the back would fit. I am not a saw collector, and will confess to some ignorance about these things, so if I have left out something important, please ask. Please see my other current as well as upcoming auctions, as I am or will be listing many more collectible planes and tools. I typically list in batches of similar tools, and sitting right now in the queue are metal planes, many American and British molders, chisels and gouges, bevels and squares, books about tools, read more
