Exciting news! I have a couple of new quilts and textile pickers; two gals with a new RV and a burning desire to keep the road hot! These pickers have a keen eye and share my love of unique and beautiful quilts and linens. They will be bringing me treasures from the "Piney Woods" of East Texas to the "Plains" of West Texas; the "Sooner State" (Oklahoma); fascinating and mysterious Louisiana; the Ozarks of Arkansas and even a few from the "Show-Me- State" (Missouri). Additionally, one of the pickers has deep roots in the Louisiana delta area with many, many contacts and a special interest in African American quilts. Tfore, I am delighted that I will be able to offer many of these priceless originals. This appears to be a wonderful new source for me and I am excited about passing unusual and lovely finds on to you. Keep checking my site daily for new listings!! They bought them in Oklahoma and turned out to be an old friend of mine from 1 st Monday Trades Day and Flea Market from world famous Canton , Texas . She set up t for years selling and buying. Saved these treasures and bought one at a time from every state in the continental USA . Has decided to let them go. I will be listing about 15 every Friday for a few weeks. Offering for bid this Small Dresden Plate Vintage 40's Pieced Pattern Quilt. SIze 70x88. Great old American Relic. No holes but has some blown out fabric and frayed edge. No stains or loose seams. THin and light weight. All cotton. Nice hand quilting in a 1/2 inch grid, on both sides of seam. 10-12 stitches per inch. Ready for your bed or use on wall. Great piece of textile art. Used many years,still good. You will be notified after auction ends if you are the winner. Shipping will be $13.95 and that is with a tracker. If more than one lot is going to the same person then shipping will be reduced by 20% on shipping only. I prefer Pay Pal but will take money orders and cashiers checks.
