Small White Swan Primative Hand Carved Wooden Decoy The Swan was made on the shores of the Cheaspeake bay in Norfolk, Virginia. Although it is not a working Decoy, it is a small decorative decoy that is very well proportioned. It has a white distressed or antique finish. T is the makers name imprented and signed and dated. This would make a nice addition to any Primative or Americana Setting. The body is app. 6 1/2 inches long. about 4 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. This is a beatiful decoy. The body is made from Tupelo wood. The head is made out of White Pine. It has a beatiful grain. This is not a factory mass produced decoy. Beware of "handmade" decoys. Many are "handmade" with crushed up pecan shells turned into a liquid and "handpoured" into a mold. Winning bidder to pay $9.01 (US) for shipping, packing post office charges. Most international orders postage will be based on how winning bidder would like it sent, boat or air. To most places in Europe and Japan US airmail is $25.01. I will not send by surface mail.
