Carved wooden doll with one-piece head and torso, carved nose, painted facial features in delicate tinting, wooden flat legs, padded wire armature arms, wearing original (worn) gown and tulle wrap and cap. Condition: good, typical age wear, hands probably missing. Comments: English, late 18th century. Value Points: unusual to find small wooden doll with excellent original facial painting, appealing expression. Estimate: 800/1000
