For your consideration, these 4 French faience small plates with emblems of Kings of France. The salamander, the porcupine and the ermine. Many fo the Royal family were associated with BLOIS and 3 of these have BLOIS on the back. They do not carry the DESVRES mark, but from experience, I am sure they are DESVRES. The porcupine is the emblem of Louis XII The ermine was the emblem of Anne of Brittany The salamander was the emblem of Francois I The two small oval plates measure slightly under 4 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/4 from top to bottom The round one with the salamander measures about 4 1/4 The one with the ermine measures 4 3/4 from section to section All are in mint condition Thank you for viewing this auction.
