A very tactile antique sterling silver drinking flask of smaller size, not as bulky as some, so ideal to slip into the pocket for an occasional 'shot'. Fully hallmarked with the anchor for the assay town of Birmingham, the lion passant for the sterling standard guarantee, and the date letter 'v' for the year 1920 . Maker's mark: WNLtd for William Neale. Condition is truly excellent with no dents, splits or repairs, the usual surface scratches consistent with age and use, and just a couple of very minor bruises almost unnoticeable. There are no initials or inscriptions and none erased. A very neat drinking hip flask in good order and ready to use. 9.4cm x 6.2cm (3 6/8" x 2.35") Weight: 92 grams.
