Calling all you 1/50th model firetruck collectors . I have now given up my hobby of 40+ years building and collecting 1/50th model white metal/resin fire trucks and commercials , so I am selling all my obsolete left over surplus items, inc diecasts, decals and related items. Here we have a rare Alan Smith model of a 1951 Dennis F12 pump Escape, that I bought new as a kit many years ago, the paintwork is sprayed, the main of the model is soldered rather than glued, and finished to museum standard. All the ladders are removeable, (see 3rd pic). As it is all white metal, it is very heavy for its size, hence postage cost. The model is mint. I will post it 'double boxed' (for safety) in brand new boxes bought for the purpose of posting white metal models.This particular model is now becoming difficult to find.
