This box belonged to my Grandmother: she kept first aid supplies in it for many, many years.I am not an antiques dealer, but given the fact that this is obviously very old, I would say that it is in good condition. I don't know alot about this piece aside from what I can see: - One piece design (lid is attached) - Red Caduceus/Wand of Hermes on lid (medical symbol of wand with two serpents and wings) - Black bottom, red textured sides, gold back and lid (red and gold sides appear to be leather?); natural wood interior (not sure of material, but I believe it is thin wood) - Measures 8 3/4" long, 3 1/2" wide, and 3 1/8" tall (approximately) - Aside from normal wear (some peeling of lid covering, some worn corners), it is in perfectly good shape. However, you can see from the pictures and make your own judgment on condition: it may be in better/worse condition than I am guessing. It's a very unique item that would be a nice addition to your collection of antiques, medical-themed collectibles, etc. I will ship internationally; please email me your location and I will calculate international shipping costs. Check out my other items ! I do offer reduced or combined shipping costs: please email me before making payment and I will let you know (I am almost always able to discount shipping, but how much depends on the winning bid and the weight of the items). Please see my 100% positive feedback & bid with confidence, but please ask any questions first! I am a stay-at-home Mom (unexpectedly!) & will answer any questions right away!
