SMITH & EGGE AUTOMATIC SEWING MACHINE Offering this wonderful antique Smith & Egge AUTOMATIC sewing machine. As you can see on the photos, the front name plate is stamped SMITH & EGGE with 1901 on each side in the lower corner of pl6-1/2te. There is also PATENT dates stamped into the top of the cloth plate. June 2, 96, Jan 26, 97 and Oct 19, 97. Item is pretty much clean of rust . Nice black original paint. Crank turns freely. Measurements: 6-1/2" in height. 5-3/4" wide from side of cloth plate to end of black wood crank handle. 2" deep. Shipping weight 2 lbs 3 oz. Please ask questions. I am No expert on these things.
