A Stunning and very grand 8 DaySmiths Westminster chiming mantel clock in very nice clean condition overall (justsome very light marks to the case) The dial bezel and glass are in mint condition. The clock comes with its original pendulum and key.The movement is made by smiths and I found there was no need of a service as the condition of the movement is fantastic And the springs are also very strong would say that its been well loved & looked after over the years with often servicing. The retailer was F. Nicholls & son watch makers & jewellers 23 Fore St St Austell Cornwall and was produced in 1954. I have had it running for a few weeks and its keeping great time and chiming lovely also ticks with a lovely strong beat, I am sure this beautiful old clock will give its new owner many years of pleasure. All of my clocks are thoroughly tested before I make them available for sale. Also I will include a setting up and care instruction sheet.
