ELESTIAL CRYSTALS are more commonly known as skeletal quartz. They are normally terminated over the body of the crystal rather than on a single apex and frequently have many terminations on the same crystal.---Although they may only have a single termination or even NO termination. To me, they look like a conglomeration of symbols and markings that beg to be worked with and interpreted. They feel like a loyal and true friend who will stand by you through good times and bad. Elestials are said to communicate the truth of any matter, breaking it down into the bare bones of the situation and to be useful in helping one to maintain stability during times of transition. They are reported to be especially comforting during the end stage of physical life when one is readying for the death experience and the great unknown that lies ahead. ---"I felt the wind beneath my wings and tasted of joy, exhiliration and freedom." --from a poem by K. Britt Elestials seem to take an inordinate amount of time as I cant seem to quit admiring all the beautiful planes and intriguing markings. Once you start looking at one, it just seems to draw you right inside and doesn't want to let you go. They all originate in Brazil and are a very transparent --you can see into the crystal to the matrix, but not thru the matrix-- smokey quartz with numerous exterior planes, deeply etched markings and usually exhibit multiple terminations. Most of the planes look like they have been highly polished, but are totally natural. I have yet to see one that is not extremely beautiful, interesting and unusual. These are raw crystals, having only been cleaned, so please expect some minor mining damage. They have a cut base so that they will stand upright in the wooden stand. This one is a beauty, most of the surfaces are naturally polished and it is transparent so that you can look into, but not through the crystal. It is a nice display sized crystal, measuring 3.00 inches long by 2.30 inches by 1.60 inches and weighs THREE QUARTERS OF A POUND.
