The Snake Pit (20th Century Fox, 1948). One Sheet (27 X 41 ). Gripping movie, set in a mental institution, is one of the first films to take an intelligent look at mental illness and the often difficult recovery process. Brilliantly played by the lovely Olivia de Havilland, who is also well represented by a full length portrait on this stylish poster. There are small border tears and pinholes, separation at the upper fold line intersection and a crescent shaped tear just above the H in de Havilland. The beautiful colors and stylish images on this attractive one sheet have always made it popular among de Havilland fans. Very Good/Fine.
