The Snow Village State Farm Main Street Fire Station No. 1 was introduced in 2000 and retired in 2000. The Original Retail Price was $37.00 and the Green Book price is $100.00. This is item # 05709. The Main Street Fire Station No. 1 was made available to State Farm's employees to commemorate the 65th Anniversary Celebration on June 12, 2000. The fire station is part of the Profiles series by Department 56. This building depicts a similar one from Randy Souder's painting "Main Street Memories" that was commissioned by State Farm. This is a two-story, light brown brick building with a light gray and beige roof. A turret is attached to the right front side of the building. The words "Fire Station No. 1 are on the door above the garage and on the right side of the building. A fire truck with a Dalmatian in the front seat sits half way out of the garage. Fire hoses and a ladder hang on the left side of the building. A green park bench and a billboard reading "State Farm Fire and Casualty Co." are on the right side of the building. A special garland with red bows is draped around the front and right side of the fire and a wreath of the same material hangs on the front door. The spire and lamppost are separate in the box.
