Society of Medalists Bronze Medal Issue 38 1948 Thomas Lo Medico - Pursuit of Happiness This medal was issued by The Society of Medalists in 1948. It is Issue 38 of the series. The sculptor is Thomas Lo Medico. Struck in Bronze by the Medallic Art Company, it is 73 mm (approx. 2 7/8") in diameter. The obverse features a Family harvesting wheat. Around them is "Pursuit of Happiness". The reverse is a group of Stevedores loading a ship. Around them is "Good Will Toward Men". The medal in the photos is the one being offered. I invite you to have a good look before buying. The medal is being offered just as shown, with no box or descriptive pamphlet. It will be carefully packaged for shipment in a non-PVC plastic flip. All items ship within 24 hours of receipt of cleared payment! Sundays and Postal holidays, excepted.
