"SOG "TRIDENT" IN DESERT CAMO" TF5 The SOG Desert Camo Trident Folder f eatures a 3.75" Part Serrated Clip Point Blade Made of AUS8 Stainless Steel. The Blade has a Desert Camo Titanium Nitride Coating, Notched Thumb Ramp for Secure Grip, Dual Thumb Studs, and S.A.T. Assist for Ambidextrous One Hand Opening. It is .125" Thick, with a Rockwell Hardness of 57-58. The ACU Camo Brown Zytel Handle is 4.875" Closed and has the SOG Arc-Actuator Lock for Blade Safety a Cord Cutter Groove, and Lanyard Hole. The Side to Side Reversible Discrete Carry Pocket Clip is Mounted at the Butt End and the Knife has an overall length of 8.5" when open, and weighs 4.5 ounces.The SOG Trident Folder Knives feature the S.A.T. (SOG Assisted Technology) opening mechanism. Unlike an automatic knife, which is activated by a button mounted on the handle, the SOG S.A.T. opening mechanism only works when the operator manually begins to open the blade.
