This is an estate piece, a solid 10K Yellow Gold Oval Cut Amethyst Ring. I recently acquired this at a local estate auction. I believe it dates from the 1960's or 70's, maybe earlier. It is clearly marked 10K on the inside of the band along with a maker's mark "AJ" which I do not know. The ring is done in plain yellow gold with a bright polished finish. The oval cut amethyst stone measures 12mm by 10mm. The ring is a size 11 1/2. The ring is in excellent condition with only minor surface marks from wear. This is a NO RESERVE auction.
