LARGE Solid Brass Nickel Plated Harbor Master Telescope With Wooden Stand (BR48545) This isan awesome vintage style and solid brass nickel plated harbormaster refractor telescope with hand stitched leather bound over it, and sits on a hardwood tripod with brass fitting. The Telescope is 38" in length. The brass has a nice and shiny patina. When the adjusting ring near the eyepiece is rotated, it moves the inner brass pipe back and forth and helps to focus the telescope. The approx 42 mm diameter objective lens is protected by a detachable brass lens cap. The telescope features glass optics which produces a sharp and clear 32X- magnification power image . The massive telescope sits on an adjustable, two-section hard wood stand with heavy brass castings. This stand can be extended to a maximum height of 60", and when not in use can be collapsed to a compact, portable size.
