DETAILS OF ITEM This is a solid wood tea canister used for storing green tea and it measures 4.5" high by 3" wide by 3" deep. It was made entirely out of Paulownia wood (Kirinoki) with a matching wood grain that flows from the cover and the body. Opening the main cover reveals a secondary cover that when opened allows access to the green tea inside. This double cover helps to keep the green tea dry preventing spoilage. An added benefit of Paulownia wood is its ability to absorb moisture in the air thus expanding the wood ever so slightly to completely seal the contents from any humidity change. This piece is in very good condition and it has never been used.
