Italian Pewter chess set with remarkable detail. gold and pewter color need gentle cleaning. This set was purchased in 1962 from a new york antique dealer and stowed away for over 40 years. The first picture is of the gold king with damage to crown " 2 prongs are broken" and original felt bottoms are worn.All other items are in great condition.This is truly a "1" of a kind rare extroadinary set. The chess board is Black and White MARBLE measueig 17 3/4 inches x 17 3/4 inches x 1 inch thick.
