I know that there is no dints, splits, scuffs or scratches and once cleaned would look like it did when first left factory. I have no problem with anyone coming to view, and if not happy walking away from it, if opting for cash on collection. An exquisite Solid Silver Chinese Tea set by Luen Wo of Shanghai. The set consists of a Tea Pot, Sugar Bowl and Milk Jug set in its original silk lined hardwood box with the wax seals still on top with a brass handle, sadly the Sugar Tongs are not with the set, but this does not detract from the quality. The box opens by means of a sliding front panel leaving the set on full display. Have been informed by a number of people that it is very rare to come across a set of this quality still in its own case. Having done some research on the web, have discovered that the Bamboo design became popular between 1840/1850. Luen Wo the maker worked in Shanghai and made a lot of his work in the last quarter of the 19th Century.
